CCP Media Mentions “Color Revolution” and Punishment

of Occupy Central

The state-run media Xinhua news agency published a tough

rhetoric article,

claiming that it’s time to punish Occupy Central protesters.

Meanwhile, Chen Zuoer, director of China and Hong Kong

Affairs Office,

and Zhang Xiaoming, director of Hong Kong’s

liaison office ,

repeated on Oct. 14 that Occupy Central is a “Color Revolution”.

Analysts pointed out that the saying is a struggle strategy,

which is to attack the opponents.

On the evening of Oct. 14, Xinhua’s video channel accused,

that over the last half a month,

visible and invisible losses in Hong Kong,

are of a serious nature.

The game should now be over, every act taken under Occupy Central,

have been taken account of,

the day of punishment will soon arrive. The article lays claim

that Occupy Central should now be over.

The same day, Chen Zuoer claimed in a press conference that

Occupy Central is “Street Politics” and a “Color Revolution”,

there is a huge conspiracy behind it.

Chen also described that students’ protests such as the Jasmine

Revolution and Sunflower Movement,

are deployed from a booklet made by the country’s

intelligence agencies.

Chen also greatly praised Hong Kong’s Chief Executive

Leung Chun-ying.

Chen says he has confidence in handling Occupy Central.

Alex Chow, Secretary-general of Hong Kong Federation of

Students, spoke to Radio Free Asia.

He said that Occupy Central is Hong Kong’s

democratic movement.

It is not to overthrow the government.

By using the word “revolution” can only increase the

Hongkongers’ refusal of a so-called “one country, two systems.”

A Zhejiang university professor requesting anonymity,

says that classifying Occupy Central as “Color Revolution”

is the need for CCP’s struggle strategy.

Zhejiang Professor A is in law school: “From struggle strategy,

the CCP must do so, struggle.

Because it gives opponents no chance to debate,

It places opponents in a disadvantageous situation.

You are ‘Color Revolution’, you use foreign forces to

overthrow our government and subvert our country,

in such a way, the government will naturally stand

by the majority of the people,

civilians generally are sympathetic to this point.

On a short term basis, it is convenience for CCP to do so.”

On Oct. 14, Zhang Xiaoming spoke to the Pro-Beijing Camp

at a dinner,

saying that Occupy Central has copied the “Colur Revolution”.

Zhang also said that Occupy Central is a socially

political incident and is illegal.

Observers say that various views showing Beijing’s tolerance

towards Occupy Central is gradually disappearing.

Fan Yiping, manager of Guangdong Food Supplies:

“For a tyranny and an interest group,

it will use the strong approach and deny the people’s requests.

It is impossible to give Chinese people real democracy.

The places under its control, will not allow democracy.

Its real purpose is to maintain the one-Party dictatorship.”

On the same day, in a routine press conference, journalists

asked Hong Lei, spokesman for the CCP foreign ministry,

on what basis do you lay claim to a Western force of

“Color Revolution” behind Occupy Central?

He didn’t answer directly but requested that other countries

respect Hong Kong’s sovereignty,

and to be cautious on this issue, to not send out

the wrong message.

Zhejiang Professor A: “Such a manner won’t be considered

as a standard way by the international community.

It only exposes its lack of confidence, incapable and

stupid towards the international society.

Everything was claimed by CCP as conspiracy theory and

manipulated by the man behind the scenes.

Nothing will ever make a concession to the public’s requests,

it is the biggest problem with the CCP,

It is not good in long-term interests, and not good for the CCP.”

According to a Russian media, Wang Yang, deputy Premier

arrived in Russia on Oct. 11.

He spoke in a meeting with Dmitryi Rogozin,

deputy Premier of Russia.

Wang said that Western countries support Hong Kong

protesters, trying to create “Color Revolution” in Hong Kong.

Thus Russia and China should strengthen their cooperation.

Fan Yiping: “Wang Yang’s words show that he can sense

if Hongkongers can make their own decision,

or release a little bit of rights to Hongkongers,

this will pose a threat to the CCP.”

On Oct. 14, Reuters cited three sources with ties to the

CCP hierarchy,

that Xi Jinping said in a national security committee meeting

in early October.

that they (CCP) wont make concessions for pro-democracy

Protesters request for real universal suffrage,

in case it sets an example for Mainlands reform.
